I started this as a bit of an everyday moments things for family and friends in Oz and it's really lovely to hear/read that other people enjoy my brand of 'heart/life/mishaps' on a page as well.

Prosit!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09420852941644763293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6630355680050775256.post-73132439660844755022011-08-17T19:47:44.758+01:002011-08-17T19:47:44.758+01:00Firstly Charlie, sorry for being so slack about re...Firstly Charlie, sorry for being so slack about responding (how rude of me when you made the effort 'n' all!)

It's funny isn't it that once you start, all of a sudden everything you see/hear/experience becomes fodder for one's next literary expose.

Thanks for the words of encouragement/advice.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09420852941644763293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6630355680050775256.post-42804204276370275552011-08-15T08:50:29.843+01:002011-08-15T08:50:29.843+01:00What they said.

And if it ever does reach that point, it will be because you've subconsciously brought yourself there.

The mix of 'I see/hear/do' and the more introspective is wonderful. We enjoy it all - your sharp-eyed humor, Aussie spunk (now there's a fun word) and your heartfelt musings. So keep on writing, especially those things that you feel invisibly driven to write. We'll be here reading.

And congrats on your article!Linda A.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06667283310675139549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6630355680050775256.post-16335798598423428292011-07-21T14:50:25.172+01:002011-07-21T14:50:25.172+01:00Well done on getting your review up. You also love being part of a team and interacting with people.
Writing is something completely different.
Writing is something you HAVE to do, it's as important as breathing. It's also solitary, frustrating and brings all your fears and self doubt to the surface.
You have the balance right but something inside is pushing you on, go with that gut feeling.
When/if you get to the fork in the road the decision may not be as tough as you think!
GO FOR IT!JANEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17412781024925055597noreply@blogger.com
